Caching to the Lake

Today’s objective was to finish walking the Onondaga Creekwalk starting at the Inner Harbor and finishing at Onondaga Lake.  As the remaining portion of the trail was fairly short, we deciding to hit up a couple of geocaches before embarking on the trail (additional information and images of the trails can be found at Trails, Tails and Tents).

The first three caches (GC1KFPH, GC1274E, GC159BQ) were fairly easy.  However, selecting the correct route can make all of the difference.  Don’t let the pictures deceive you.  The sun was bright but the wind was very brisk.

Just as I was last weekend, I was impressed with the construction in Phase I of the Creekwalk.  A few pictures from the rest of the walk and our final geocache of the day (GC37PMZ) are pictured above.  Weather providing, we may utilize this portion of the trail for our traditional New Year’s Eve walk.
